These handcrafted copper earrings have a southwest tribal vibe. They feature hand stamped copper accented with African turquoise stones. Bold and unique, they'll make a striking statement.
MEASUREMENTS: Total length: 2-3/8" from top of ear wires and 1" at widest point. I hand sawed the shapes out of solid copper sheet; hand filed all edges until meticulously smooth; then hand stamped and hammered the metal to create the texture. The copper was oxidized; then sealed with jeweler's wax to resist tarnishing. They are shown with copper ear wires, but if you prefer niobium (hypoallergenic) ear wires - chose that option at checkout. The total length will be slightly shorter with niobium ear wires.
✤ Although commonly known as African turquoise, this stone is a type of jasper found in Africa with a matrix structure similar to turquoise - with hues of green and blue, along with black and brown inclusions.
