This one-of-a-kind necklace features a Red Creek jasper stone accented with a handcrafted solid copper bail. The stone has a wonderful natural pattern with streaks of brick red and brown against a mossy "bluish-green" background with hints of golden yellow. Makes a great fashion statement for anyone that loves natural stones and handmade artisan jewelry.
MEASUREMENTS: Just a tad less than 2-1/4” in length and 1-3/4” at widest point. It comes on an 18” oxidized copper chain with sturdy *easy-to-fasten* hook & eye closure. I created the bail out of solid copper sheet; hammered it for an organic texture; then oxidized it to enhance the detail. It is signed on the back with my initials. The metal was sealed with jeweler's wax to resist tarnishing.
