These handcrafted sterling silver earrings have a hammered and stamped texture and are accented with natural African turquoise stones. They have an earthy, rustic style that coordinates well with all wardrobe types.
MEASUREMENTS: Total length: 2-3/4” from top of sterling silver ear wires and 5/8” at widest point. I hand sawed the shapes out of solid sterling silver sheet; hand filed all edges until meticulously smooth; then hammered and stamped the metal to create the texture. The silver was oxidized, buffed and polished for a satin sheen and signed on the back with my initials and sterling stamp.
✤ Although commonly known as African turquoise, this natural stone is a type of jasper found in Africa with a matrix structure and colors similar to turquoise.
