This necklace features a heart-shaped African turquoise stone accented with a hand forged copper bail. Makes a great gift to say: "I love you" for all occasions. MEASUREMENTS: Pendant measures 2" in length (from top of bail to bottom of stone) and 1-3/8" at widest point. I created the bail out of solid copper sheet; lightly hammered it for texture; oxidized and polished it; then sealed it with jeweler's wax to resist tarnishing. It comes on an 18" copper chain with lobster claw closure.
♦ Although commonly known as African turquoise, this stone is a natural jasper found in Africa. It has a matrix structure and colors similar to turquoise.
