These handcrafted gold brass earrings have a rustic, hammered texture accented with dangling blue goldstones and tiny brass beads. They have a modern chic style with an earthy, organic vibe. Goldstone is a man-made stone of quartz sand glass infused with copper particles which creates the subtle sparkle effects. It was invented in Venice, Italy in the Seventeenth Century.
MEASUREMENTS: Total length: 2-3/8" from top of antiqued brass ear wires and 1-1/8" at widest point. I created the earrings out of solid gold brass sheet; hammered and dimpled the metal for a rich earthy texture; added a few holes for a rustic effect; then oxidized them for an antiqued sheen. The metal is sealed with jeweler's wax to resist tarnishing. They are signed on the back with my initials.
