These handmade gold brass earrings have a bold, earthy elegance combined with a boho chic, tribal design. They are accented with African carved bone and wood beads. Unique and versatile, they will look great dressed up or down.
I created the earrings out of solid gold brass sheet; hammered the metal for a rustic, organic effect; and then oxidized it to enhance the details. The end result is the look of "aged gold" which gives these earrings an ancient "Old World" vibe. The carved wood beads have a deep black hue & the carved bone beads have a creamy beige hue, along with subtle brown highlights. Ear wires are solid gold bronze.
MEASUREMENTS:
Total length: 2-1/2" from top of ear wires and 1-1/2" at widest point. Despite their impressive appearance, they are lightweight and comfortable for all day wear. The metal was sealed with jeweler's wax to preserve the patina.
