Small and petite, this one-of-a-kind handcrafted pendant necklace is perfect for those that prefer a smaller size. It features a natural African turquoise gemstone accented with a handcrafted sterling silver bail. The modern earthy style coordinates well with all wardrobe types. I created a sterling silver bail to surround the stone and wrapped it securely with abstract twists of sterling silver wire ending in a spiral front. The metal was lightly hammered for an earthy, organic texture; then oxidized to enhance the detail. It's signed on the back with my initials and sterling stamp.
✤ Although commonly known as African turquoise, this stone is a type of jasper found in Africa with a matrix structure and colors similar to turquoise.
MEASUREMENTS: Pendant measures 2” in length and 3/4” at widest point of both stone and sterling bail. It comes on a 20” stainless steel chain with lobster claw closure.
