These handcrafted earrings feature uniquely textured copper dangles accented with a stack of natural African turquoise stones topped off with copper beads. They have an earthy chic, bohemian style and will make a striking statement. Makes a great gift for couples celebrating their seventh wedding anniversary, as copper is the traditional choice for this occasion.
MEASUREMENTS: Total length: 2-3/4" from top of copper ear wires and approx. 7/8" at widest point. They are shown with copper ear wires. If you prefer niobium (hypoallergenic) wires, chose that option at checkout. The total length is slightly shorter with niobium wires. Created out of solid copper sheet; the shapes were textured; oxidized and buffed for a warm rustic glow; then sealed with jeweler's wax to resist tarnishing. They are signed on the back with my initials.
✤ Although commonly known as African turquoise, this stone is a type of jasper found in Africa with a matrix structure and colors similar to turquoise.
