Picasso marble gemstones are accented with textured sterling silver dangles in these one-of-a-kind earrings. This semiprecious stone is found only in southwest Utah and is called Picasso marble because the natural matrix of geometric lines resembles an abstract painting by the famous artist with this name. The stones in this pair have distinctive swirly lines in black and grey. Tiny black onyx stones and silver pewter beads were added as an accent.
MEASUREMENTS: Total length: 2-1/4” from top of sterling silver ear wires and 7/8” at widest point. I created the dangles out of solid sterling silver sheet; hammered them for texture; then oxidized them for a satin finish. They are signed on the back with my initials & sterling stamp.
